His father has been working as a planner for a transport company for almost 20 years, so working with containers appears to be in the family.
A story about our motivation
How do we contribute to environmentally conscious choices? It’s quite simple! Not everyone is aware of the fact that container ships are very polluting. For example, they emit CO₂ and nitrogen oxide, resulting in water and air pollution. Step one is therefore to create awareness about this disturbing fact. We do this simply by being transparent.
Not only do we provide our customers with a complete overview of prices, sailing schedules and quality, but thanks to our cooperation with the European Institute for Transport and Living Environment, the amount of CO₂ emissions is also shown. By listing various options, we encourage our customers to make more sustainable choices. In this way we work together on clean air and ocean.
In your own hands
In addition to cleaner air, we make the logistics process within shipping digital and manageable. HelloContainer digitizes administrative activities, such as the preparation of quotations, export documents and communication with carriers and ports. This has many advantages. HelloContainer has been in development for three years and had pilot customers in the fruit and vegetable sector: one of the most difficult sectors, because of refrigerated containers and inspection bodies.
Experience so far shows that exporters save at least 20% on logistics costs. HelloContainer also offers exporters other advantages, including a higher chance of scoring on quotations and working more cost effective, quicker and more efficiently. Handy, because this way you save a lot of money and time.
